Jen Tullock is an actor and writer best known for the Turner/Super Deluxe series Disengaged, which she wrote and starred in alongside collaborator Hannah Utt. Their short film Partners premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and their feature Stupid Happy was a participant in the 2017 Sundance Director and Producer Labs. She is the award-winning narrator of several New York Times best-selling audiobooks and the voice of the title character in Emmy award winning short Henry.
Her work as a comic has been featured onstage at Upright Citizen’s Brigade, Broadway Comedy Club, Joe’s Pub, and The People’s Improv Theater, in addition to contributions to Huffington Post, Super Deluxe, and Funny or Die. Her upcoming feature Stupid Happy, which she wrote with Hannah Utt and stars in alongside Alec Baldwin, Mandy Patinkin, and Judith Light, will premiere in 2019.
TV/Film credits include Casual (Hulu) , Roadies (Showtime/Cameron Crowe), HBO pilot A Lot, Curb Your Enthusiasm, SMILF (Showtime), and Budding Prospects (Amazon). She can currently be seen alongside Abbi Jacobson and Dave Franco in Netflix original movie 6 Balloons, Hulu original Door No. 1, and as Jon Hamm’s long suffering assistant in a series of H&R Block spots that her grandmother is very pleased “play during Ellen.”
